Hermosa, Corpuz rule Subic triathlon

MANILA, Philippines — Close to 600 triathletes kicked off the 2020 triathlon season by competing in the National Age-Group Triathlon (NAGT) Series Leg 1 recently held at San Bernardino, Subic Bay Freeport.

Go for Gold Cebu ruled the boys’ super sprint distance event with Matthew Justin Hermosa and Jacob Kennedy Lipunan taking first and third place, respectively. Dash Aron Ramirez of Sta. Cruz, Laguna bagged the silver medal.

On the girls’ side, last year’s winner Lady Samantha Jhunace Corpuz reigned supreme.
