NCA 5-cock derby today at Ynares

MANILA, Philippines — After the successful NCA International Derby preliminary, hosts Gov. Ito Ynares Jr., Cong. Paul Dy, Cong. Joseph Panganiban, Albert Dichavez and The Firefly Group announced the holding of the 5-cock derby today at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The NCA preliminary derby got the scores of the participating entries as follows: CPB DVO Tigers and AOM with four points, VRV San Rafael Aldo with 3 ½ points, JRS-San Pioquinto III, GE Jimafer BG, April 18 Manila Arena 7-Cock, Bmy Binangonan and Ju Money Maker Win As One with three points each.

Cockfighting aficionados once again saw the strict enforcement of the National Cockers Alliance rules and regulations that ensured honesty, integrity, fair-play, transparency and camaraderie during the well-attended event.

The continuous support of the public has enabled the association to continue its scholarship program in UP Los Baños for those taking up courses in Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture, Major in Poultry Science.

The next NCA 6-cock derby will be hosted by Gov. Claude Bautista, Jun Bacolod, Dante Eslabon and Raymond Palomares on Jan. 28.
