NCA, Lagba, LGBA bets clash at PCC
MANILA, Philippines — It’s a three-cornered battle among top cockers and gamefowl breeders at the Pasay City Cockpit as the Lucas 4 -Cock Derby gets going today.
PCC’s season opener for the 2020 cockfighting season will pit select members of the National Cockers Alliance (NCA), Laguna Gamefowl Breeders Association (Lagba) and Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA).
Supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, the event will be headed by the Lucas group and Jerald Picazo.
Preparations are also underway for the Erica 4-Cock Derby on Jan. 17 and Ace and Elbie 4-Cock Derby on Jan. 24
Meanwhile, the revised schedule of LGBA’s 2020 Cocker of the Year race fires off on Feb. 14, 21 and 28 (first leg).
The format is 3-cock elims and 4-cock finals with P1 million at stake.
