LGBA 8-Stag Derby finale determines Breeder of the Year winners
MANILA,Philippines — The top 10 winners of the 2019 Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association Breeder of the Year (BOY) stag circuit will be known today in the LGBA 8-Stag Derby finale at Pasay City Cockpit.
World Slasher Cup veteran and BOY leader Ric Tamboong (RTT) leads the finalists in this event backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000. Tamboong grabbed the overall lead in the ‘Breeder’ race after scoring three more wins last Friday for a total of 14 points.
Close behind with 13 points each, are Francis Guevarra (JJ Airbender Migs), Ronald Barandino (Jan. 10 Pasay 4-Cock RB Basilan) and Ricky Magtuto (Ahluck Camsur) while Rey Tolentino (RMT GF 2) and partners Larry Wacnang and Glen Sombilon (Isla Carabao Arena) tote 12.5 points. With 12 points are Jun Sevilla (JRS San Pioquinto 2), Rep. JV Bernos (RM Abra), Anthony Lim (Lucban) and Limuel Reyes (RLJ Tymolox).
LGBA president Nick Crisostomo said participants will also shoot for the third leg championship, led by three pointers Biboy Enriquez, Tamboong, Wacnang, Lim and Magtuto.
