MANILA, Philippines — Four gamefowl breeders currently lead the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association Breeder of Year stag circuit at the Pasay City Cockpit after the second leg of competition last Monday.
With identical eight points are first-leg champion Ronald Barandino (Pasay 4-cock, Jan. 10 RB Basilan), Hector Magpantay (HGM), Jun Sevilla (JRS San Pioquinto 2) and Francis Gueverra (JJ Airbender Migs 2).
Rey Tolentino (RMT GF 2) and Jervy Maglunob (Triple J Farm 3) tallied 7.5 points each.
Supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, the LGBA stag circuit derby resumes on Friday.
The total standings will change on Friday as the remaining participants gear up for the 3-stag elims.
LGBA president Nick Crisostomo said the 4-stag finals for the second leg unfolds on Oct. 21.
Crisostomo also reminded LGBA members to avail of the “piggy bank” option in the ongoing PFGB Digmaan 11-stag derby.
