Provincial, Metro Manila cockers vie in Pasay derby

MANILA, Philippines — Provincial gamefowl breeders challenge Metro Manila’s big time cockers today in Pasay City Cockpit’s Jerald and Erica Four-Cock Derby featuring more than 80 fights.

Gunning for championship are participants from San Juan Coliseum, Roligon, La Loma Cockpit, Sta. Monica Cockpit, Elorde Stadum, Las Piñas Coliseum, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon and Rizal, according to Jerald Picazo who will host the event with PCC operations manager Erica Clemente.

A cash prize of P400,000 is at stake for the winner in this event sponsored by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000.
