MANILA, Philippines — The championship round of “Building Bridges 6 -Bullstag Derby Part 2” fires off today  with more than 100 fights supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000 at Pasay City Cockpit.

Individual and team champions will receive separate prizes, according to Nick Crisostomo and Rey Directo, presidents respectively of Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) and Rizal Gamecock Breeders Association (RGBA).

The team champion will receive a trophy and P600,000.

Individual prizes: champion, P600,000 plus trophy; runner-up P80,000; any 5 points, P120,000; any 4 points P200,000 ; any 3 points P150,000; handler, P35,000 and gaffer, P15,000.

Entries still unbeaten with three wins each  are  Gerry Escalona  (Team Sagupaan), Ronald Barandino (EDL Excellence), Doc Rey Tambong/Bob Rizon (Black Rooster 2), Gov. Jayjay Suarez (Quezon), Rolan Directo (La Union), Edwin Lumbres (LGBA), Malou Tanaquin (UMCGBA), Custer Tiu/Irving Santiago (Tarlac VY), Eduardo Rubite/Yudi Arnawan (Black Rooster 1) and Nelson Uy/Dong Chung (Thor).

Black Rooster (12.5 points) and EDL Excellence (12 points) lead the race for team championship.

The LGBA Wingbanding Team 4-Cock Derby comes next at Pasay Cockpit on April 8.
