Baluyot takes overall crown in 19th Guevara Memorial Cup

MANILA, Philippines — Adonis Baluyot captured the overall championship trophy with a lowest net score of 69 in the recently concluded 19th Domingo M. Guevara Memorial Golf Cup held at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.

Derek Ramsey, on the other hand, scored 71 for the lowest gross.

Herbert Chua emerged champion in the Class A division followed by first runner-up Benjie Sumulong and second runner-up Mark So.

Hiro Nakatsuka came out champion in Class B with Tammy Campos and Winni Aningat as first and second runners up, respectively.

Edgar Ang was declared champion in Class C followed by first runner-up Benjie Guevara and second runner-up Gus Lagman.

Rose Quilacio topped the Ladies Division as champion with Isa Velayo and Tomoko Sumi as first and second runners up, respectively.

Unlike the previous years, none of the participants scored a hole-in-one to win prizes from donors Standard Insurance, UCPB General Insurance, Malayan Insurance, Empire Insurance, Auto Nation, Guevent Insurance/UCPB Gen, Bestway Transport and Asian Therapeutics.
