Eight pace LGBA derby elims

MANILA, Philippines — Patrick Antonio’s Sagupaan PA and Inguel 3 posted big wins to lead seven others with three points after the sixth elimination round of the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association seven-stag derby circuit at the Pasay City Cockpit last Monday.

Joining Antonio at the helm with 3-0 cards are Michael Sollestre (Kat Angel Camp Kawayan), Emer Sumigad (5-Stag Derby Genazon), Toto Gregore (22 GF3), Pinggoy Lagumbay (HGM Rancheros), Godo Beltran (GPB Mayon Gamefarm 2), Buddy Robrigado (Big R Dragon Blade) and Eric Abella (MBA Eraser).

LGBA president Nick Crisostomo said the elims drew 284 entries. The finalists of the first leg clash Sept. 21 and 29 (for 1. 1.5 and two points) and on Oct. 1 (2.5 and three points).
