LGBA derby circuit up in Pasay
MANILA, Philippines — The chase for the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association Breeder of the Year honors starts today with the seven-stag derby at the Pasay City Cockpit.
The elimination rounds (three-stag) kick off today with other derby dates on Sept. 3, 7, 10, 14 and 17.
The four-stag finals will be held on Sept. 21, 28 and Oct. 1.
LGBA president Nick Crisostomo said the 2018 Breeder of the Year will receive P1 million and a Silver Cup from Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000.
The first runner-up will receive P300,000 while the third placer will get P200,000. The rest of the top 10 finishers will share P500,000.
Rey Tolentino (RMT 1 Sta. Monica) topped the LGBA circuit last year.
