MANILA, Philippines — The AFAD Defense and Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) holds its 26th firearms exhibit beginning today, featuring not only the newest in weaponry but also the latest in self-defense measures at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
World shooting champ Jethro Dionisio, president of the Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers of the Philippines, Inc. (AFAD), said the country’s premier gun show will conduct several free seminars at the firearms exhibit venue aimed at enhancing the individual’s capability in handling and confronting security threats.
Among the topics lined up is the “Introduction to Tactical Driving: Drive Like Spy” by JP Tuason of the Tuason Racing School. The TRS will give tips on defensive driving, evading surveillance operations, and preventing abductions of vehicle passengers, among others.
The National Capital Region Police Office will also share tips on how to avoid being victimized by criminal elements with a seminar entitled “Crime Prevention and Skills Enhancement Orientation – Safety Tips & Basic Self Defense.”
