BOCAUE — It was raining outside the Philippine Arena. Inside, it was raining 3-pointers as defending FIBA 3x3 World Cup champion Serbia dropped four consecutive treys to blow open their quarterfinals match with Mongolia.

From an 8-6 score in favor of Serbia, Dusan Bulut, Marko Savic and Dejan Majstorovic hit four triples to hike their advantage to 16-6.

Mongolia valiantly tried to rally but Majstorovic continued to wax hot.

After Bulut scored on a lay-up to give Serbia a 19-8 lead, Majstorovic hit a game-ending triple to send his team to the semifinals.

“We’re not yet done,” said Bulut, the world No. 1 3x3 player.

“ We hope we can continue our hot shooting,” said Majstorovic.
