Boxing Kontra Droga
MANILA, Philippines — The regular boxing promotion dubbed Boxing Kontra Droga of Johnny Elorde in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Manila Premier returns tonight, starting at 6 p.m., at the Elorde Sports Center on Sucat Rd., Parañaque.
The main event features Phl bantamweight champion Glenn Suminguit of the Elorde Stable in a tuneup fight against Llyod Jardelisa of Tiger Boxing Gym. Suminguit, a veteran fighter of 10 years, is preparing for a title defense that would improve his world rating.
The supporting mainers feature No. 8 flyweight Diomel Diocos of Negros Occidental against No. 9 JC Francisco of Valenzuela, and Arvin Yurong of Jaro, Leyte vs Robin Dingcong of Quezon City, both for 10 rounds.
In the preliminaries, Marlon Paniamogan battles Daffy Dempo for eight rounds while Del Pellio is pitted against Lowell Saguisa in six rounds. .
