MANILA, Philippines — The D&G Ultimate Gamefarm by BD/PG, Dimasalang by Paolo Crisostomo, Cavs Pride by Dennis Pancipane and RUA Lagalag by Ronnie Andal posted six victories each to share top honors in the Manila Cockers Club, Inc.’s 54th seven-cock Breeders Festival recently.

Over 200 fights were held during the derby, which offers a total purse of P2.62 million distributed among the winners.

Meanwhile, the MCC is inviting all interested breeders to join its upcoming derbies on May 25-31 (55th seven-cock derby); June 2-8 (56th seven-cock); June 13-19 (57th seven-cock); and June 22-28 (58th seven-cock).

For details, call MCC at (02)696 1120 or (63)917-5822615.

The main thrust of MCC’s operations is to revitalize the breeding industry and at the same time provide aficionados a new method of appreciating the game of cockfighting.

MCC’s operations enhanced the viability of small and medium-size breeding farms across the country. Hundreds of breeders from Kalinga Apayao, Isabela, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Pampanga, Laguna, Rizal, Batangas, Quezon, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cavite, Basilan and Davao, among others, have participated in MCCI’s derbies as it has allowed them to pit their game- fowls against the best breeders in the country.
