'Extra-careful' Folayang ready to rejuvenate ONE Championship career
MANILA, Philippines — The country's arguably most recognaizable mixed martial artist is ready to put the past behind him.
Entering the fight cage for the first time since losing his belt to Martin Nguyen November of last year, Eduard Folayang is bracing for the biggest step in his road for redemption.

Folayang is taking everything slowly. After all, at 33, he knows that Father Time doesn’t actually root for anyone.
The Filipino striker is slated to take on Russian Kharun Atlangeriev in Singapore on Friday night where he is expected to take the fight to the ground.
Folayang bared that he him and his team have done their homework.
But most importantly, Folayang stressed that he would bear in mind the biggest lesson he learned from the fight against Nguyen now that he embarks on a new journey: to be careful.
