MANILA, Philippines — ONE Championship’s showpiece this weekend in Singapore couldn’t be more aptly titled.

Dubbed “Unstoppable Dreams,” the mixed martial arts showcase slated this Friday will be adorned with two title matches — both filled with fighters chasing their dreams. One pits two-division champion Martin Nguyen against hometown hero Christian Lee, while the other features the latter’s older sister Angela in a much anticipated return to action against Mei Yamaguchi.

Nguyen will stake his featherweight belt against Lee.

The older Lee, for her part, is set to tangle again with Mei Yamaguchi, whom she outlasted for the vacant atomweight strap nearly two years ago.

The card at the Singapore Indoor Stadium will also feature Eduard Folayang, who will return to the ONE FC for the first time since losing the lightweight throne to Nguyen in November last year.

The beloved Team Lakay skipper is set to tangle with Kharun Atlangeriev of Russia in the main card.

Joining the Baguio City native is Roel Rosauro, who locks horns with Indonesia’s Sunoto in the preliminaries. — With reports from Denison Rey A. Dalupang
