Only 23 years old, Campbell will be joining a relatively aging Aces crew  and will bolster a frontline manned by Sonny Thoss, Vic Manuel, Noy Baclao, and Marion Magat.

The American cager normed 11.03 points, 7.02 rebounds and  1.04 blocks in his four years of stay with the Ohio Bobcats. He played all four years there en route to a Mid-American Conference Player of the Year award in 2016.

The Aces finsished with a 7-4 record (third in the elmination phase) in the current season's first conference. They reached the quarterfinals but  lost to a retooled NLEX Road Warriors in two games.

Alaska opens its mid-season campaign on April 27 where they will try to erase the bitter taste of falling to ninth in the standings and missing the playoff bus for the first time since reigning as contenders.
