MANILA, Philippines — Team Bianchi Countervail Phl sets out for another victory as it vies in the UCI-sanctioned Sandugo International Mountain Bike Challenge 2018 firing off today at the Eastridge Sandugo Trail in Binangonan, Rizal.
With Avegail Rombaon and national team coach Eboy Quinones as spearheads, Team Bianchi dominated the fourth Bike the Dike Mountain Bike challenge in Mangaldan, Pangasinan through the support of Mega Ideal Enterprises that provided the team with the Methanol SX, Methanol CV and Methanol 29 FS (full suspension) mountain bikes.
Rombaon topped the Women Open race while national team mainstays Mellisa Jaroda and junior rider Nicole Quinones placed third and fourth, respectively, aboard their Methanol CV and Methanol SX bikes.
Quinones, also the Bianchi Countervail Phl head coach, stamped his class in the men’s division, topping the 40-49 age category while finishing runner-up in the Open division.
