MANILA, Philippines — National Housing Authority bucked a slow start and pulled off a stunning 104-100 come-from-behind win over Senate even as Judiciary got back on the winning track in the sixth UNTV Cup held over the weekend at the Olivarez College gym in Parañaque.
The NHA Builders trailed the Senate Defenders by 21 points in the first 10 minutes but fought back behind Alvin Vitug, who almost singlehandedly put the team back into the contest. He then came through with big plays in the clutch to cap their stirring fightback.
Judiciary, on the other hand, banked on a big third quarter run to beat GSIS, 91-80.
Chester Tolomia and Don Camaso starred for Senate’s sixth win in eight games by exploding for 28 and 19 points, respectively.
