NCA 6-cock derby up at Ynares

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance holds its 13th 6-cock derby today with another spirited battle for top honors seen at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Hosts Ador Pleyto, Boyet Legaspi, Patrick Antonio, Harold Ramos and Jerry Teves have invited a crack roster of cockers and breeders to headline the event, including Mario Tiqui, Mayor Henry Villarica and Frank Berin along with NCA members.

Focus will also be on the Cocker of the Year race with the top five contenders out to firm up their respective bids. Binangonan Rolly of Rolly Bautista sets the pace with 42 points followed by San Leonardo of Mayor Elan Nagaño with 41 points, Sagupaan of Antonio with 39 points while Ps Hot City of Vic Yap and Ahluck CamSur of Ricky Magtuto are tied with 37.5 points.

JT Emerald of Jun Topacio and Batch 65 of Jun Sevilla also pooled identical 37 points.
