Huge field vies in Prima badminton

MANILA, Philippines - More than 2,000 players from all over the country gear up for another fierce battle in the 10th Prima Pasta Badminton Championship slated Feb. 23-26 and March 4-5 at Powersmash Badminton Courts in Pasong Tamo, Makati.

Organizers have guaranteed another successful staging of the annual event which features some of the country’s top players and rising stars from the school and club levels.

“On our 10th year, we are expecting a tight competition not only from the Open divisions but also in other categories as well,” said committee chairman Alexander Lim.  

“Every year we see a lot of players who excel and we’re hoping this will be another banner year for our badminton tournament,” he added.
