Del Rosario, Francisco rule 4x4 invitational

MANILA, Philippines – Antonio del Rosario and guest partner Romeo Francisco combined for 259 to capture the overall crown while Jing Romero and Erik Escalona pooled a 216 to clinch the overall low gross title in the 4x4 Invitational at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Gen. Tris, Cavite recently.

Del Rosario and Francisco carded an 84 each at the Norman and Faldo courses then added a 45 and 46 at the Dye and Aoki, respectively.

The Romero-Escalona pair made gross 63, 63, 42 and 48, also in the same order.

Jimmy Suelo and Allan Embuscado topped Class A with 251, edging Roy Sausa and Gerardo de Chavez by one in the four-day tournament sponsored by Concepts Golf Management, Sta. Lucia Land, WGC Golf, CHEQ Systems and LK Golf.

In Class B, Justin Cammayo and Aldrin Gupita assembled a 254 to beat Christian Villegas and Pablo Gabriel, who wound up with a 250, while Mike Shih and Tony Lin carded a 242 to capture the Class C diadem.

Other winners in the ERGCC’s premier tournament were Benigno Colorado and Garry Sales (Class D), Eden Hernandez and Evangeline Omlang (ladies), Megafiber’s Rene Unson and Tony Olives (sponsors), Rey and Marlo Capinianes (member-member) and Mario Pradil and Armando Lustre (guest-guest).
