Salva signs up with Mahindra
MANILA, Philippines – Forward Nico Salva moved over to Mahindra from Barangay Ginebra yesterday and immediately came to terms with the Floodbusters for a one-year package that includes a car and a condominium unit.
Less than a week before the start of the 2016-17 PBA season, Blackwater continued to beef up its lineup by acquiring Ronjay Buenafe from the free agent pool and Dylan Ababou in a trade with TNT KaTropa.
The Texters, on the other hand, landed 6-foot-4 Frank Golla.
TNT KaTropa will be the first assignment of Governors Cup champ Barangay Ginebra on Nov. 27 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
After the San Miguel Beer-Star opener Sunday, next up is the first regular twinbill in PBA Season 42 on Nov. 23 pitting Blackwater versus Phoenix Petroleum and TNT KaTropa opposite Rain or Shine also at the Big Dome.
