National Bakbakan derby elims slated November 22
MANILA, Philippines - The “FIGBA National Bakbakan 12 - Stag Derby,” now with 3,910 entries halfway into the competition, will have qualifying rounds at Roligon Mega Cockpit beginning on Nov. 22.
Ricoy Palmares Jr., president of International Federation of Gamefowl Breeders ( FIGBA ), said this year’s ‘Bakbakan’ is expected to attract 7,000 entries.
FIGBA is backed by 37 gamefowl breeder groups nationwide with 5,000 members.
The first batch sked at Roligon: Nov. 22, 24, 26 and 29 (3-stag elims) and Dec. 1 (4 -stag semis).
Bakbakan 2016 is co-presented by Thunderbird the Winning Formula and B-MEG Integra Power Maxx in cooperation with Excellence Poultry and Livestock Specialists, Lakpue Drug Inc., Hagibis, Salto, Vitarich Titan, Vio-Plus, Pit Fighter, and Mad Science.
