MANILA, Philippines -- Kiefer Ravena dazzled his way with his killer crossovers and pull-up jumpers while Bright Akhuetie sealed the win with a thunderous in-your-face slam as the Philippine team topped Qatar U-18 3x3 team, 18-11, in an exhibition game at the FIBA 3x3 All Stars on early Saturday morning (Manila time) in Doha, Qatar.

With San Beda big man Ola Adeogun manning the middle, Ravena and college rival Jeron Teng combined in a sizzling 4-0 start for the Philippine team composed of collegiate stars.

With Teng getting a breather midway in the 10-minute game, Ravena carried the fight as they stayed on the driver's seat, 12-8.

A tear drop and a free throw by Teng gave them a five-point advantage, 14-9, but a three-pointer by Qatar inside the final 30 seconds gave the host a shot at a comeback cutting into the deficit, 14-11.

As Qatar clamped down on Ravena, who nearly lost his dribble, the back-to-back UAAP MVP found an open Akhuetie in the baseline. The University of Perpetual Help Altas big man attacked the rim and slammed in a two-handed monster dunk against the world no.1 U-18 player Nedim Muslic.

Akhuetie completed the bonus free throw then Teng put the icing on their big win with a two-point shot from beyond the arc.
