Primicias-San Buenaventura tops Founders Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Dondi Primicias and Levi San Buenaventura took the overall low net plum while the Ace Stehmeier-George Gallent bagged the overall low gross crown in the 19th Founders Cup Invitational member-guest golf tournament of the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmariñas, Cavite recently.

Primicias and San Buenaventura made 87 points at the Palmer course and 48 at the Player layout for a 135 total that proved to be the best among the 400 teams assembled for the four-day tourney.

Stehmeier and Gallent chalked up a six-over 66 and an eight-under 44 for a 110 total to crown themselves the new gross winners of the tourney which had BDO-Visa, CATS Motors, Mizuno, Glenmorangie, Petron, Philippine Airlines, Sta. Lucia Land as major sponsors.

The division titles went to Doc Joon-kim and Sunny Sun Jr. in Class A, Raymond Santos and Luis Rex Salazar in Class B, Ricardo Odulio and Sergio Fojas in Class C and Jose Esplana and Orlando Dy in Class D. Jean and Joana Magsino won the sponsors division.

Asiana Airlines, Ayala Land, ICTSI, Gran Toro, Pepsi Co., Security Bank, Shakey’s, The Turf Company, and U-Freight were premium sponsors.
