Del Rosario, 2 others rule ABC quarterly

MANILA, Philippines - Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Paints scored a 1616 to annex the Group A crown while Frederick Chuongco and Russel Mapanoo took the Group B and C titles, respectively, in the Architects Bowling Club’s Quarterly Championship at the E-Lanes in San Juan last week.

Eugene Panaguito of Emerald Pipes carded a 1585 to finish second to del Rosario while Hermie Prudente of Crown Pipes placed third in Group A with a 1556.

Chuongco of Boysen Healthyhomes shot a 1565 to beat Rudy Serrano of Emerald Pipes, who had a 1501, for the Group B plum while Violy Magsakay of Boysen took third place with a 1425.

Mapanoo of Mighty Lynx shot a 1468 and won over Malou del Rosario of Boysen, who scored a 1440, for the Group C diadem while Lawrence de Jesus of Philflex came in third with a 1439.

Meanwhile, ABC president Denis Jalandoon and vice president and tournament director Abe Firmeza said registration for the annual championship
