4 teams dispute semis berths in FBA

MANILA, Philippines – Four teams – Pateros Austen Morris, Quezon City UP, Malolos Mighty Bulsu and Marikina Wangs – face off each other eyeing to clinch the last two semifinal berths in the final elimination round playdates of the Filsports Basketball Association Second Conference at the Enderun Colleges gym Tuesday.

The Associates, spearheaded by team owner and playing coach Nic Belasco, face off with the Maroons, the reigning First Conference champions, at 7:30 p.m. while the Mighty Bulsu and the Deliverers collide at 3:30 p.m.

Pateros Austen Morris is currently at No. 3 with a 4-5 (win-loss) record and a victory will automatically catapult them to the semis alongside early semifinalists Pampanga Foton and Manila NU-MFT.

Malolos, Marikina and Quezon City are in a three-way logjam for No. 4 with identical 3-6 slates.

The Toplander and the Mica Tan-backed Bulldogs face off at 5:30 p.m. in what could be a sneak preview of this conference's finals.

The games will be aired at Aksyon TV, Aksyon International, Net 25, Net 25 International and Fox Sports International with Korgivit E and Titan as major sponsors of the league.
