Benilde, De Ocampo set pace in Milcu tilt

MANILA, Philippines – College of St. Benilde and De Ocampo Memorial College scored victories in emphatic fashions to share the early lead in the Milcu Got Skills Hard To Guard 25-under division basketball tournament at the Enderun Colleges gym in Taguig City recently.

Clement Leutcheu fired 15 points as CSB defeated La Salle College Antipolo, 79-35, while Dahrrel Carunguian shot 19 points as De Ocampo trampled Adamson, 70-52, for 2-0 slates in Groups A and B, respectively.

In the 13-U category of the tournament sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and supported by Milcu, Gatorade, LGR, Slam, Mighty Sports, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Secret Fresh Ronac, Coach Athletic Trainers Tape, Magic 89.9, Enderun Colleges and Lyceum, Nathan Tan dished out a double-double game of 14 points and 12 rebounds as Pinoy Youth Dreamers beat San Beda College-Alabang, 57-48, to stretch their run to three games.

Paco Citizen Academy Foundation routed Quezon City Christian High School, 59-20, in the 15-U class with Carl Chan firing 10 points for a 2-0 record, the same output put in by San Beda College-Alabang in Group A.
