Pampanga Foton faces two FBA rivals

MANILA, Philippines - Pampanga Foton braces for a grueling outing as it plays two games today, battling Malolos Mighty Bulsu and Manila NU-MFT in the Filsports Basketball Association Second Conference at the Malolos Sports Convention Center in Bulacan.

The Toplanders first collide with the Mighty Bulsu in a special schedule at 12:30 p.m. and will take on the Mica Tan-backed Bulldogs in a showdown between the league’s remaining unbeaten teams at 5:30 p.m.

Levi Hernandez, the reigning Best Player of the Conference, exploded with 22 points as Pampanga Foton routed Marikina Wangs, 91-68, to post its second straight win at the Marikina Sports Center last Saturday.

Manila NU-MFT, meanwhile, banked on Issa Gaye, Chino Mosqueda and Matt Salem to turn back Pateros Austen Morris Associates, 89-83, and seize the solo lead at 3-0.

In other matches, Pateros Austen Morris Associates collides with the Quezon City UP Maroons at 3:30 p.m. while Marikina Wangs clashes with Malolos Mighty Bulsu at 7:30 p.m.

Games will be aired on Aksyon TV, Aksyon International, Net 25 and Fox Sports International.
