MANILA, Philippines - Manila National U-MFT and Marikina Wangs shoot for win No. 2 as they tangle with Malolos Mighty Bulsu and Quezon City University of the Philippines, respectively, at resumption of the Filsports Basketball Association’s Second Conference at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Bulacan today.

The Mica Tan-backed Bulldogs drew strength from Francis Abarcar to blast the Maroons, the First Conference champions, 64-55, while the Marikina Wangs slammed the Nic Belasco-led Pateros cagers, 86-70, to share the early lead in the league headed by FBA president and CEO LJ Serrano with Vince Hizon as commissioner and CFO and Claudia Perrine as COO.

The Manila NU-MFT-Malolos clash is set at 7:30 p.m. after the 5:30 p.m. match between QC UP and Marikina.

Meanwhile, Pampanga Foton and Pateros Austen Morris Associates try to bounce back from their opening day setbacks as they mix it up at 3:30 p.m.

The three FBA officials will grace the league’s first out of town game to be televised on Aksyon TV and Aksyon International with featured games on Net 25 and Fox Sports International.

Other backers of the league are REJ Diamond Pharmaceuticals, Inc. with their leading brand Korgivit E and Titan.
