Huey, partner lose in Swiss Indoors

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino-American Treat Huey and his partner Henri Kontinen of Finland came up short in the men’s doubles division in the Swiss Indoors at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland on Thursday.

Huey and Kontinen succumbed to Britain’s Jamie Murray and John Peers of Australia, 7-6 (1), 4-6, 11-9, to bow out of the tournament.

The 30-year-old Huey, a doubles specialist, will be part of the Philippine Mavericks’ roster for Season 2 of the International Premier Tennis League.
