Eagle Ridge 4x4 invitational slated in four courses

MANILA, Philippines - The annual 4x4 Invitational, Eagle Ridge’s centerpiece event featuring its four courses Faldo, Norman, Aoki and Dye – has so far lured 600 players when it is played Nov. 7-8 and Nov. 13-14 in Gen. Trias, Cavite.

The member-guest event presented by CGM is the only major club tournament in the country that taps the four par-72 layouts with different characters and challenges.

Each game day, the 300 two-man teams also compete in different formats.  At the Norman and Faldo, Stableford scoring will be based on aggregate while the best ball and scramble will be applied at the Aoki and Dy courses.

A maximum score of six-under will be enforced in aggregate. It will be 10-under in the Scramble and seven-under in best ball. Course assignments and pairings will be available on the first round on Nov. 7.

Backers of the event are Purefoods, Kambal Pandesal, WGC Golf, LK Golf, Sta. Lucia, Turf Company, Interconnect Systems and Megafiber with each player to receive a Pinseeker Range Finder as giveaway, according to Eagle Ridge general manager Raymond Bunquin.

Big prizes will also be up for grabs for hole in one and during the raffle draw.
