MANILA, Philippines – Philippine Mavericks' Treat Huey and Singapore Slammers' Thanasi Kokkinakis both suffered a loss in the Men's Doubles in their respective tournaments, early Thursday.
Huey paired with Finland's Henri Kontinen fell prey to the Netherland duo of Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau, 4-6, 4-6. They are now out of the Erste Bank Open in Vienna.
Aussie netter Kokkinakis on the other hand, saw action alongside Cyprus star Marcos Baghdatis, where they unable to weather an opposing tandem of Israeli Jonathan Erlich and German hitter Philipp Petzschner.
Kokkinakis and his partner are also out of the Stockholm Open.
Huey, who have been snaring wins in the ATP Tour, suffered his second straight loss since bowing out of the Tokyo Open quarterfinals.
Kokkinakis on the other hand, is still looking to shake off the sour taste of losing to Marcel Granollers of Spain in the Single's action of the St. Petersburg Open in Russia.
Huey and Kokkinakis are both set to play in the International Premier Tennis League scheduled for a second stop here in December.
