Django joins Bata in Team East for Kings Cup

MANILA, Philippines -- Filipino pool legend and Hall of Famer Django Bustamante has been named as the second player of Team East for the upcoming inaugural Kings Cup to be held on November 19-21 in Resorts World.

Bustamante will be joining compatriot and fellow Hall of Famer team captain Efren Bata Reyes for Team East as they do battle against Team West to be skippered by the Iceman Mika Immonen.

The format of the Kings Cup will follow that of the successful Queens Cup. Teams will be playing in versatile styles including singles, doubles, triples, and quadruples in each of the three days of the men's competition.

“We know each other very well, and as teammates I am already very comfortable with him”, said Reyes, also known as "The Magician", noting that their partnership have produced so much wonders in international competition.
