Knights turn back Chiefs, grab share of NCAA lead

MANILA, Philippines -- In the third game, Letran outlasted Arellano U, 87-81, to jump to a share of the lead with San Beda.

Rey Nambatac led the Knights with 21 points while Mark Cruz scattered 20 points including 12 in the fourth quarter when they turned things around.

The Chiefs fell into a three-way logjam for No. 4 with the Cardinals and the Bombers with 10-6 marks.
