The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Defending champion Chiang Kai Shek College and long-time rival Hope Christian High School disposed of their respective semis rivals to seal another title clash in Division I of the 26th Filipino-Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation (FCAAF) Basketball Championships at the Chiang Kai Shek College gym in Manila last weekend.

The Blue Dragons used a near-flawless shooting in the first quarter to romp to a 55-24 win over St. Jude Catholic School and secure a return trip to the final of the event presented by Molten.

The Hope Christian cagers, on the other hand, scored a vengeful 70-42 win over the Manila Patriotic School side, 70-42, in the other semis pairing last Sunday.

MPS denied Hope Christian of a seven-game sweep of the elims by eking out a 72-70 thriller at the close of the elims last Saturday.
