CKS, Adamson sweep Milcu caging elims

MANILA, Philippines - Chiang Kai Shek and Adamson toppled their respective rivals to complete a sweep of the elimination round in the Milcu Elite Showcase at the Enderun Colleges Gym in Taguig City last weekend.

Richmond King fired 11 points as the CKSC Blue Dragons dominated the University of the East Warriors, 72-43, while the Baby Falcons won via default over De La Salle-Araneta C.

CKSC and AdU finished the elims with 6-0 cards in Group A and B, respectively, in the tournament sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and supported by Milcu, Slam Philippines, Gatorade, LGR x Titan Sports Wear, Coach Athletic Trainers’ Tape and Secret Fresh.

Others advancing to the quarters are De La Salle Integrated School, University of Santo Tomas and Faith Christian School in Group A of the Under-16 category, and UE, AMA University and National University in Group B.

In the U-25 division, Issa Gaye scored 17 points as National University routed Adamson, 80-46, to lead the quarterfinalists with a 7-1 record.
