Laguna Advocacy youth baseball set

MANILA, Philippines - The Laguna Advocacy for Baseball and Softball, in cooperation with the Municipality of Los Baños and the University of the Philippines-Los Baños, will launch the First Entom Baseball and Softball Cup on Friday with a big field seeing action at the University baseball field.

Rep. Joaquin Chipeco Jr., Mayor Caesar Perez of Los Baños and Chancellor Fernando Sanchez Jr. of UPLB have been invited to grace the opening of the event set at 9 a.m.

La Salle-Zobel and Los Baños slug it out in the opening day at 8:30 a.m. in softball girls’ competition while La Salle-Canlubang and Entom Tiger Juniors collide in the next match.

Tanauan and Entom Tigers mix it up in the minor division after the opening rites on Diamond 2.

The rest of the schedule will be released also on Friday, according to the organizers.

Tournament director Ely Baradas said Muntinlupa City, Calamba City, Canlubang, Cabuyao and Southridge have also signified their intention to join the event.
