Mare, 2 others top ABC monthly plums

MANILA, Philippines - Greg Mare of WeKonstruct flashed top form and scored a 941 to capture the Group 3 crown while Eugene Panaguiton and Romi de Jesus took the Group 1 and 2 titles, respectively, in the Architects Bowling Club’s Monthly Championships at the E-Lanes Center in San Juan City last week.

Panaguiton of Emerald Pipes turned in a 1203 to beat fellow Emerald Pipes mainstay Dante Manglicmot and Glass Asia’s Ronnie Javier, who made 1177 and 1169, respectively, while De Jesus of Philflex had a 1122 to foil Randy Poon of Duraflex and Eugene Ferraris of Crown Pipes, who carded 1099 and 1086, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Larry Ng of Miraga Trade and Michael Macasieb of Boysen shot 936 and 919 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group 3.

Meanwhile, ABC president Denis Jalandoon is inviting all architects to join the Architects Bowling Club held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at E-lanes.
