MANILA, Philippines - The “ScholaRun,” a fund-raising running event sponsored by Teleperformance and organized by the American Chamber of Commerce Foundation (AmCham), drew over 3,000 runners who vied in the 3K, 5K and 10K events at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig recently.
Now on its fourth year, ScholaRun is aimed at raising funds for AmCham Foundation’s scholarship programs for underprivileged high school and college students. This year, Amcham and Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced customer experience management services, hope to send 100 scholars to school.
Teleperformance, through its corporate social responsibility arm Citizen of the World (COTW), continuously supports the goal of AmCham Foundation in helping deserving yet underprivileged students in the Philippines to secure a better future through education.
“For three years in a row, Teleperformance has been actively participating in the AmCham Scholarun as we share the common goal of sending a deserving kid to school and this serves as an inspiration for us to run for them every year,” said Marilyn Ventenilla, regional communications and marketing director of Teleperformance Philippines.
