Rodeo fever up in Masbate; national finals slated in April
MANILA, Philippines - The most-anticipated action-packed festival in the country formally kicked off last Feb. 12 at the Capitol Football Ground in Masbate City.
The event signaled the official countdown towards the Rodeo Festival 2015 set April 5-19 while the National Rodeo Finals will be held April 14-19.
Present during the event were officers of Rodeo Masbateno, Inc. (RMI) led by its president Judge Manuel Sese.
Also in attendance were members of the provincial and city government, officials, ranchers, bankers, businessmen, and other supporters of the annual festival.
Other highlights of the kick-off were the MOA signing between RMI and its annual supporters led by Gov. Rizalina Seachon, Masbate City Mayor Rowena Tuason, Filiminera and DMCI officials, unveiling of the Rodeo Festival Logo and the presentation of the festival activities.
