Pontejos highlighted her game-long brilliance with five triples. She also grabbed eight rebounds and issued seven assists in 32 minutes to bag the Dickies Player of the Game honors for the second time.

Caranto and Dologue finished with 12 and 11 points, respectively, as CEU handed FEU its third defeat in five games in the tournament sponsored CW Home Depot, Powerhouse, K-Tech Sports, Inc., Dickies Underwear and Jumbo Plastic Linoleum.

Meantime, University of Santo Tomas notched its second straight win by outlasting Adamson, 76-71, to forge a four-way tie for third with University of the East, FEU and its victim.

Ateneo-San Miguel drew another stellar performance from Jolina Go to beat UE, 62-57, and jump to solo second with a 3-2 card in the six-team tournament.
