PAL stages ‘New York Run’ today

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Airlines holds the “Run and Fly to New York” run early today as part of the flag carrier’s US expansion program with tickets to New York City at stake.

Events on tap are 3K, 5K, 10K and 16K from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the 34th St. at the Bonifacio Global City grounds.

An estimated 2,000 runners are expected to join with each participant to be given a PAL race shirt, singlet, race bib, and raffle stub.

Up for grabs for participating runners are flights to New York City, PAL’s 35th destination. On March 15, PAL’s founding anniversary, the flag carrier returns to the Big Apple with four weekly flights via Vancouver.
