NCAA beach volley in Subic

MANILA, Philippines - The NCAA, in partnership with the Lighthouse Marina Resort in Subic Bay, will host the 90th NCAA beach volleyball tournament on Feb. 11-15 at the Baywalk inside Subic Bay in Olongapo City.

San Sebastian will defend the women’s title with Shakey’s V-League veteran Gretchel Soltones spearheading the campaign with new partner Charmaine Dalisay.

Dalisay, named Rookie of the Year in last month’s indoor volleyball competition after helping the Lady Stags to a surprising runner-up finish behind the Arellano Lady Chiefs, will fill in for Czarina Berbano, who teamed up with Soltones last year.

St. Benilde, to be led by the power-hitting Johnvic de Guzman, will defend its men’s crown while Arellano University seeks to retain the high school championship it copped last season.
