MANILA, Philippines – Kobe Paras made it as one of the six LA Cathedral players who made it to the honor roll.
The 17-year-old Filipino cager joined teammates Milan Acquaah, Lucas Siewert, Leandro Amador, Fil-Am Jameel McGill and Michael Obindu. The six players were part of the 25 student athletes that made it to the honor roll in the last semester.
Paras, who has just returned to action after missing the Phantom's last two games due to sprained ankle, is averaging 16.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 2.8 steals per game as a starter.
LA Cathedral clinched a spot in the Open Division playoffs with their 15-3 win-loss record and are currently on a three-game win streak after beating Cantwell-Sacred Heart Cardinals, 57-50, on Thursday (Manila time).
