Kawasaki Motors donates to Yolanda

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Kawasaki Motors Philippines, through its president and chairman Jin Inouse, donated five Kawasaki motorcycles to the Rural Health Unit of Marabut which will use the bikes to reach Yolanda victims in far flung areas.

The donation is an urgent response by Kawasaki Heavy Industries of Japan (KHI) and Kawasaki Motors Phils. Corp. (KMPC) to a request by Dr. Ryohei Kada, a Japanese medical volunteer working in the Philippines, who knows that motorcycles are an effective means of delivering goods and services to the victims.

The Japanese availed themselves of motorcycles in relief work when tsunami hit Japan in 2011.
