Krav maga guru to hold seminar

MANILA, Philippines - Avi Moyal, chairman and head instructor of the Israel-based International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF) will conduct seminars on Surviving An Armed Assault on Dec. 13 at Planet Infinity Gym at Mother Ignacia Ave., Quezon City from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This will be followed with an anti-carjacking seminar the next day at the LTO Main Office at East Ave. in Quezon City, at  1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Moyal, 48, has trained in Krav Maga since childhood. Trained personally by founder Imi Lichtenfield (Sde-Or), Moyal has been teaching Krav Maga  for the past 30 years.

IKMF-Philippines is headed by its country director and chief instructor Dindo de Jesus, the highest-ranking Krav Maga instructor in Southeast Asia.

Registration fee for one seminar is P2,500, and P4,000 for both seminars.

Founded and developed by Imi Sde-Or for the Israeli defense forces in the 1950s, Krav Maga is considered to be the most effective fighting and self-defense system in the world that can easily be learned and applied immediately to real life threats.
