226 km Bohol triathlon slated in Bellevue Resort

MANILA, Philippines - Seasoned triathletes test their mettle in long distance triathlon on  Dec. 6 with the staging of the Enervon Activ 226 Bohol Triathlon, which covers 226 km,  at The Bellevue Resort in Panglao, Bohol.

Action starts with a 3.8-kilometer swim course at the resort followed by a 180-kilometer bike race that stretches out to Valencia for the turning point. Winding up the competition is the grueling 42-kilometer marathon which will conclude at The Bellevue Resort.

To ensure safety of the participants, race marshals will be deployed on the race routes to control the traffic.

Participants are expected to be in Bohol on Dec. 5 to pick up their race kits and attend the race briefing set at 5 p.m. Competition is set the next day starting at 7 a.m. with cutoff time to be enforced in all three events.

The swim cut off time is set 2:20 from start time, the bike cut off is 10:30 hours from start time and run cut off is 17 hours from start time.

Awarding rites will be held at The Bellevue Resort on Dec. 7, starting at 9 a.m. Brunch will be served.

The Enervon Activ 226 Bohol Triathlon is the final race for year under Bike King (led by Raul Cuevas) supported by Unilab Active Health, Enervon HP, AboitizPower, Aboitiz, Gatorade, OtterBox, Orbea, TIMEX, Maxxis, Shimano and Energizer with Men’s Health and The Philippine STAR as media partners.
