Report: Ex-PBA star Samboy Lim collapses in exhibition
MANILA, Philippines – Former PBA star Samboy Lim has been rushed to the hospital Friday after collapsing during a PBA Legends exhibition game at the Ynares Center in Pasig City.
According to a Spin.ph report by veteran scribe Snow Badua, ex-PBA star Nelson Asaytono said Lim collapsed unconscious after stretching in the sidelines.
Prior to that, Lim, 53, had seen action for six minutes in the first quarter against the Resorts World team.
Former PBA cager Vince Hizon likewise shared the news via his Twitter account.

The incident has given birth to the hashtag #PrayersForSamboy as netizens offered their messages of support to the Lim, known in his heydays as “The Skywalker” due to his high-flying game.
Lim joined the PBA in 1988 and played his entire career with the San Miguel Beermen. He retired in 1998 and was named one of the PBA's 25 Greatest Players two years later.
